Shivraj College of Arts, Commerce and D. S. Kadam Science College and Sambhajirao Mane Junior College, is located in Gadhinglaj, is a leading college that has been providing quality education to students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The college was established in 1964 by Late V. T. Patil, the MP of Kolhapur. In 1974, it was transferred to the Karamveer Vitthal Ramji Shinde Shikshan Sanstha. Under the leadership of Late Shri. Balasaheb Mane (MP) and Late Shri. D. S. Kadam, the college has made significant progress and expanded its offerings to include a range of number of programs. Then chairmanship was offered and accepted by Prof. Kisanrao V. Kurade. Under the leadership of Prof. Kisanrao V. Kurade and Dr. Anilrao Kurade, the institute has achieved great success and consistently produces top-performing students. Our college has made an impression of our independence in the educational, social, cultural and sports fields. Today, this institute is known as one of the most ideal institutes in the area. Now the institute is transformed into “Shivraj Vidya Sankul”.

Our Sambhajirao Mane Junior College has been distinguished in many departments. The role of the 11th & 12th standard does not end with the completed syllabus; there’s a lot more. The competitive exams cover these standards’ curriculum. It helps students further to get admission in the desired degree college. Since these competitive exams are not easy to crack, students often get very worried about scores in exams such as NEET, JEE, CA, and various university entrance exams. Our College with innovative curriculum covers these entire exams syllabus actively. We are not just concerned about 12th results but majorly guide students to excel in competitive exams.

Along with 11th and 12th , various innovative activities and courses are being conducted for overall development the students. The free bus pass facility is also available for girls.

The students of our junior college are provided the facilities like well-equipped computer labs, internet and other related facilities. Due to these facilities, our many students have been serving in the country and abroad.

Students taking admission here can be benefitted from a rich library with around 81,187 books. Students can also be benefitted by N.C. C., N. S. S., Shivraj Academy (Police and Army Pre-Recruitment Training) and Earn and Learn Scheme.
